I'm pleased to announce that When Pigs Fly is available on Kindle at http://tinyurl.com/whenpigsfly-kindle.
It’s a rollicking road trip, a comic crime caper, and one man’s quest to do the right thing. The Alamogordo, New Mexico, Friends of the Library refused to let me do a reading because of immorality of the bad guys—what better recommendation could I ask for?
For six bucks, you can’t go wrong. You don’t even need to buy a Kindle reader. You can download Kindle for PC for free.
Yippee!
ReplyDeleteThe "immorality of the bad guys" eh? Well isn't that the thing about bad guys? LOL
If you want to do a blog tour or interview thing and include my mustard blog, let me know. I'm happy to help. :)
Hi Bob, just bought WPF on my Kindle!
ReplyDeleteAmanda, I'm going to take you up on your kind offer in the next couple of weeks.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cindy. May I compliment you on your literary taste and discernment. ;-)
LOL Bob. Loving it so far. (About half way through.) Will post a review on my website when I finish!!
ReplyDeleteAren't they the same folks that banned "The Adventures of Robin Hood" for containing too much Saxon violence?
ReplyDeleteNo matter. Sounds like a fun read; I'll have to look into this Kindle thing...
The story I heard about Alamogordo is this: In 2000, a minister condemned the Harry Potter series as being pro-witchcraft and unchristian. He held a public burning of those and similarly offensive books. Said event gained national notoriety and caused some local embarrassment. On learning about this incident, I began promoting the book as "Banned in Alamogordo."
ReplyDeleteCindy, what's the URL of your website? I'll follow it.
bob, I'm at http://www.cynthiaharrison.com and I put the review up today;-)
ReplyDeleteCindy, what a delightful review! Thank you.
