Today we started our two-week RV round trip from home in Las Cruces to San Diego. Tonight the rain is pouring down on us in Tucson, Arizona, probably the first rain they’ve had in a good long time. We certainly have had nothing like this in L.C. since the rainy season last July. It’s a soothing sound that I hope lasts all night. I had planned to take photos but didn’t have time today.
Tomorrow we will drive to Patagonia and a ghost town named Harshaw and will certainly have pix to post.

Hey Bob!
What kind of RV are you driving? Is it brand new or just new to you? We bought a used RV about 5 years ago thinking we would live in it and travel while we did family seminars around the country. We had nothing but trouble and expense with it, lived in it for a year and a half - until we couldn't stand it anymore!
Hope yours serves you well and that you have a great trip in it!
I love the sound of rain on the roof, provided, of course, that the RV doesn't leak.
Alan and I own a 1976 classic GMC 26' motor home and used to live in it six month's a year when we worked in the USA. I miss her.

Our RV is a 2005 Coachmen Santara, 31' long. It’s not new, but only has about 4,000 miles on it. We don’t plan to live in it, just to take regular trips.
It’s been cool here, though not downright cold. Many of the mountaintops have dustings of snow.
