A milestone
iUniverse just notified me that my novel When Pigs Fly has sold 500 copies, which I understand to be five times the industry average for self-published books. This qualifies me to apply for their Star program, which means they would actually try to sell the book to chains like B&N with return privileges, help me re-launch the book, etc.

Hey, Bob. Congratulations on this mile stone. I have a hunch that your book, When Pigs Fly, will have a life of its own soon.
This is great news and I'm cheering for you down here in the boggy lowlands of Costa Rica.
Bravo!
Congratulations Bob! That's a great milestone.

That is big news! You're right, most don't sell over 100. You are doing something right!

Congratulations, Bob, on all your hard work!
Congratulations.
Dude! You GO, man!! Congrats. Yeah, I think I remember reading somewhere that the average total books(ALL books - not just self-pubs) sold is less than 100 - which is a HUGE thing because when you factor in the best sellers selling millions, that means the vast majority of books sell next to no copies. Probably a few friends and relatives of the author.
Great new, Bob - get that Wal-Mart deal!
Congratulations on your book sales! I understand it's very difficult to sell a self-published book, so you must be doing something right! Best wishes for continued sales.
Hooray, Bob! I'm addding my huzzahs to the multitudes...

As one who laughed my way through the book, I'm not surprised at all. In fact, I may have been one of the folks who said this should be made into a movie. If I wasn't, I certainly thought it. Good luck.
